Artfire and Jo-Ann Partner for the Common Good of Artisans

Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores is excited to be partnering with ArtFire.com, an online artisan marketplace, as part of its Common Good Program to support and promote independent artisans and crafters as they work to sell their handmade goods.

Here's how the Common Good Program works: ArtFire partners with a select group of suppliers, including Jo-Ann, to mutually promote artisans, provide access to unique promotions and provide a sense of community. The program creates a total artisan support structure from tools, supplies and materials to the sale of their final products on ArtFire.

Joann.com Online Doorbusters & Weekend Sales Extended

On Nov. 15, 2009, we relaunched Joann.com to enhance our customers shopping experience by making the site faster and easier to navigate.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the site began experiencing technical problems late on Thanksgiving Day, causing the site to go down for most of the holiday weekend. In addition to our internal team, we had experts from three technical companies working around the clock to correct the problem. Currently the site is operational. Customers will be able to shop and take advantage of our "Take 2 Holiday Sale."

All online weekend offers have been extended through Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 11:59 p.m. EST, while supplies last. These include Thanksgiving Online Exclusive Doorbusters, Friday Doorbusters, Saturday Doorbusters, Sunday Online Exclusive Doorbusters, 3-Day Sale and Cyber Monday Sale.

REGARDING ONLINE PRICING: Please be aware that we have not been able to change (extend) pricing on our Web site for some of the sale items yet, so they are currently showing/selling at regular price. We are aware of and working on this pricing issue and hope to correct it to minimize the need for adjustments later. However, our customer services team will be able to make an adjustment to pricing for you once you receive your order.
