Traci says: The stars were made with Tulip Glitter Transfer Sheets sold in-stores. This band is a hit with young kids and they are currently "on tour". Moms everywhere are making jackets for the concerts because they are not sold anywhere.

What pattern did she use for the jackets?
ReplyDeleteHi Alisa, I believe Traci bought hers a while ago at K-mart. But we do have a ton of jacket patterns. You could use silver satin or a gray pleather, too. http://j.mp/yiz0pH

DeleteThese Jackets are nearly impossible to get at Kmart anymore, unless you want to go on Ebay and pay over 100 dollars for something that was off a clearance rack for $19.99 :(
ReplyDeleteseriously - just take a jacket that fits and make your own pattern! if i can do it, anyone can: http://www.wanlifetolive.com/2012/02/rock-star-jacket-take-2.html with a jo-ann's coupon, it cost me around $20 to make, with leftover materials!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your post, Jenny! (And the video was adorable!) -Kim @ Jo-Ann
DeleteTraci or Jo-Ann ,I will buy these glitter transfer sheets cause I have the jacket but how do you get the star pattern on? Thx, please respond because my daughter went to the concert last month so I'm lagging in getting her jacket done hopefully before she is over The Fresh Beat band and is moving on to next big in thing for kids.
ReplyDeleteHow do you get the star template on with using the glitter transfer sheets?Thx so much, my daughter is dying for me to finish her jacket
