On Friday, Nov. 26, at approximately 8:45, Jo-Ann was notified of a tragic incident involving one of our team members at our store in Zanesville, Ohio. The store was closed immediately following the incident and will remain closed until 9 am on Monday, Nov. 29.
"We are deeply saddened by the news," said Lisa Greb, director of corporate communications for Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores. "Our thoughts are with our team member’s family at this time."
Jo-Ann is working in cooperation with the Zanesville police department and has a support team on location to help store team members through this difficult situation.
"We would also like to express our gratitude to the first responders who selflessly offered their help in this situation," said Lisa.
As reported in the Zanesville Times Reporter, all Black Friday special pricing will be honored at this location when the store re-opens on Monday morning. Jo-Ann is encouraging Zanesville shoppers to bring their Jo-Ann sales flyers with them on Monday for easy reference.
