Duct Tape Stocking
Skill Level 1: No experience necessary
Crafting Time: Varies
Supplies & Tools
- Duck® Brand Duct Tape: red, green, white
- Craft knife
- Pen
- Quarter
- Cutting board
Directions
- Take an 18" piece of green duct tape and fold it in half lengthwise. Make 12.
- Take a 13" piece of red duct tape and fold it in half lengthwise. Make 16.
- Lay green strips on flat surface. Tape across bottom to hold in place while weaving.
- Weave the red pieces in between the green strips. Tape the edges secure. Tape a large X from corner to corner on the back side.
- Draw stocking shape on back of woven duct tape fabric. Cut out. Repeat Steps 1 through 5 to make the other side of the stocking.
- Lay out a strip of red tape on cutting board. Use craft knife cut it into small strips. Fold strips around the outside of the stocking pieces.
- Make 2 pieces of white duct tape fabric 2 strips wide and at least 2" wider than the top of stocking.
Cut a trapezoid shape, with top the same width as the opening of stocking. Tear a piece of white tape and tape it along the top of duct tape fabric. Fold remainder over stocking top and tuck inside. Repeat for other white tape fabric. - Tear off two more pieces of duct tape. Fold them over the edges of the stocking cuff. Trim the top and bottom.
- Make 2 pieces of green duct tape fabric 1 strip wide x 3" to 4" long. Cut out holly leaf with scissors.
- Lay red duct tape on cutting board. Trace 3 quarters. Cut out these "holly berries" with the craft knife. Stick onto holly leaves.
- Lay white tape on cutting board. Cut out 3 crescent shapes. Stick on holly berries.
- Tear off a 6" length of tape. Fold in half lengthwise, fold it in half again and tape it inside duct tape stocking and gift box the stocking.
Holiday Gift Box

Supplies & Tools
- Duck® Brand Duct Tape: red, white, chrome
- Circle cutter or circle stencil
- Craft knife
- Scissors
- Gift box with lid
- Cutting board
Directions
- Cover gift box in red tape. Cover the lid with red tape.
- Using circle cutter or by tracing circles on to white duct tape, cut out circle. Make 50 circles. Place the white duct tape circles on red box.
- Tear off 4 strips of chrome tape, stick each on box so it runs up the middle of each side.
- Tear off 2 more pieces of chrome. Stick them across top of lid, so they run down the sides and align with the chrome on the box bottom.
- BOW: Tear off 4 pieces of chrome tape. Fold each in half lengthwise, then bring the ends into the middle and tape in the middle to secure. Tape them onto the box.
Holly Duct Tape Ornament
Skill Level 1: No experience necessary
Crafting Time: approx. 3 - 4 hours
Supplies & Tools
- Duck® Brand Duct Tape: white, burgundy, silver, red, green
- Large Styrofoam® brand foam ball
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Xyron® 510 sticker machine or other adhesive
- Hole punch
- Adhesive dots (optional)
Directions
- Cover ball with white duct tape. To make a silver loop fold duct tape over on itself lengthwise; hot glue to the top.
- To create letters, leaves, berries and dots fold the tape over on itself, sticky sides together. Draw shapes, cut out and run through Xyron® machine to create a new sticky side. Apply to covered ball.
- To create top bow stick tape to itself and cut out the shapes. Assemble bow using hot glue or adhesive dots.
- Punch out silver dots with large hole punch. Attach with adhesive dots.
Silver Elegance Duct Tape Ornament
Skill Level 1: No experience necessary
Crafting Time: approx. 3 - 4 hours
Supplies & Tools
- Duck® Brand Duct Tape: silver, black
- Styrofoam® brand foam balls: 1 large, 1 small
- Black & white wired ribbon
- Silver cord
- Star template
- Scissors
- Hole punch
Directions
- Cut small Styrofoam brand foam ball in half; attach to top and bottom of large ball with wire and glue. Cover ball with silver duct tape. To create a loop of duct tape fold the tape on itself lengthwise and hot glue it to the top.
- Cut squares of black duct tape, trimming to follow the contour of the ball and attach to the large silver ball.
- Stars: Fold silver duct tape over on itself sticky sides together. Draw star shapes, cut out, punch a hole. Repeat for black stars. Tie silver cord around the loop. String on stars, tie a knot in the cord to secure the stars and unravel the remaining cord.
- Tie a bow around the loop and shape the wire-edged ribbon.
- Create 3 spikes by cutting duct tape 6" to 8" long and rolling it diagonally from one of the ends. Trim the narrow end to a point and secure near the loop.
