MATERIALS

• 1 Ball each of Bernat Satin (100% acrylic; 200 yds/182 m) in colors:
• A Aqua #04201
• B Rouge #04531
• Size US 8/5mm hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Circumference: 8”/20.5 cm
Height: 8”/20.5 cm

GAUGE
16 sts x 15.5 rows= 4”/10cm in Pattern Stitch

ABBREVIATIONS
Beg = beginning
BPhdc = Back Post half double crochet
Ch = chain
Dc = double crochet
FPhdc = Front Post half double crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Rep = repeat
Rnd(s) = round(s)
Sc = single crochet
Sl st = slip stitch

DIRECTIONS (Make 2)
With A, ch 32; join rnd with a sl st, taking care not to twist.
Bottom Cuff:
1st Rnd: Ch 2 (counts as hdc), hdc in each ch around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch. 33 sts.
2nd - 5th Rnds: Ch 2, *FPhdc, BPhdc; rep from * around. Join with sl st in top of beg ch.

Body:
1st Rnd: Ch 2, *hdc in next st, dc in each of next 3 sts, hdc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts; rep from * around. Join B with sl st in top of beg ch.
2nd Rnd: With B, ch 1, sc in each st around. Join A with sl st in top of beg ch.
3rd Rnd: With A, ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next st, *hdc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts, hdc in next st, dc in each of next 3 sts; rep from * around, ending with dc in last st.
Join B with sl st in top of beg ch.
4th Rnd: Rep 2nd Rnd.
5th Rnd: Ch 1 (does not count as sc), sc in first st, *hdc in next st, dc in each of next 3 sts, hdc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts; rep from * around, ending with sc in each of last 2 sts. Join B with sl st in top of beg ch.
Rep 2nd-5th Rnds, four times more.
Cut B, switch to A.

Top Cuff:
